Star bread here is so good especially when it's warm and fresh!! I pre order them for events or parties and bring them and everyone loves it! Sometimes there's a line and sometimes there's not, I think it depends on the time and day, thr pricing is really affordable too. I've tried the donuts but I prefer the star bread. Staff are really friendly!

I went to bad bakers to purchase señorita bread. I ended up buying some for myself and some for gifts. The service was quick and I did wait for some of the bread and got them straight out of the oven. The bakery is small, but the selection is sample as you can see in my pictures, it's a pleasant environment and there is plenty of parking in the parking lot. I will return for some of the other sweets, but today I only purchased señorita bread.

Just came in and was able to snag a box of Staxx and a few other goodies. I'm updating my review because I finally got my long-awaited empanadas and the gentleman at the front was such a GEM! Great customer service and such a warm personality, great (late) start to my day. I finally tried a donut too and it's delicious, typing this as I eat it right now. :) I really appreciate encountering individuals who evidently love their job, it makes all the difference in the customer service experience.

Looking for delicious and fresh pastries in Natomas...then head to BAD Bakers! Everything that I ordered from this bakery was absolutely amazing. Love their senorita bread and donuts! It's located in a shopping center so you can easily find free parking. They also have some merchandise in the store that you can purchase, which was super cute! Overall, I highly recommend supporting this local business in Sacramento!

Better than I expected. I am plain glazed donut type girl but we do monthly birthday treats for the office and I was running out of ideas until I came across this place. They are located in a small shopping center where Starbucks and Togos Baskin Robbins is. Their website for online ordering doesn't really work so I had to go in but was able to order 3 dozen ahead of time. The gentleman that took my order was very kind and helpful. I scheduled for an 8am pick up two days later. There was a line but it went quickly. I appreciated that he did 2 dozen for me and let me pick the final dozen. I had to do my own sampling before I committed to a big order of course so I got some fun donuts that include syringes to inject your donut with. Absolute novelty but so fun. The person at the counter was very helpful answering all my questions since there are no signs to tell you what things are. The chocolate is really rich and chocolaty! They have cronuts and mochi donuts. But they also have the traditional ones too. THEN they also have what I have known as Senorita bread and a savory section. I tried the Lumpia, empanada, and this absolutely delicious hot dog thing filled with cheese. Will have to do these at our next event! As expected, prices are much higher than the average donut shop. I would recommend buying at least half dozen as you get a discount vs. a single. These were an absolute hit at the office and with me. I will definitely be back!!

Nobody "staxx" up to you, BAD Bakers! I've been a patron since this Natomas bakery opened up in 2013, and they remodeled in 2019. BAD technically stands for Bread And Donuts, but I personally really think it is an abbreviation for Bad@$$ Bakers! They serve up Bread, Donuts, and Savory -- whatever you're in the mood for, what's good? I'm always a fan of their infamous Spanish Rolls, and did try their injectable donuts a few times as part of a Bundle. Usually get these as a treat for potlucks or other large group settings. You can get only Bundles & Packs via ordering online, but all menu items are available in-store. Online, for example, you can get a bundle of both staxx (Spanish Rolls) and assorted donuts (either 6 donuts+20 staxx or a dozen donuts+40 staxx), just staxx, 10 frozen lumpia (chicken or cheeseburger) to fry at home, or care packs (15 staxx, 6 assorted donuts, 10 pan de sal). Firstly, the Bread. Baked fresh daily! Order Staxx (Spanish Rolls) by the piece. As of May 2024, 15 pieces costs $9.75. I placed a big walk-in Wednesday lunchtime order of 100 pieces which came out to $65, which was ready in only 3 minutes, divided into a box of 60 and a box of 40 -- amazing! They also carry Ube Staxx on Fridays-Sundays for a few more dollars each. Pan de sal, filled giant spanish rolls (hazelnut, strawberry, coconut, apple), ensaymada, biscocho, ube biscocho. Donuts. An assorted dozen will cost you $38, or a 1/2 dozen for $19. They have mochi donuts, raised, cake, kronuts, plain, cruller (a.k.a. Cruellas), gluten-free, vegan. You can also buy them as singles, 1/2 dozen, dozen. Bitso are Friday-Sunday and come as singles or 3-pack. Flavors: Cake: Unicorn Clouds, B.O.C., Joy Ride, Walter White Kronuts: S'morgasbord, Couch Potato, Bananarama Raised: Movie Time, Shorty Cake, Cookie Kraving ...and more like Cereal, Mochi, Lemon Delight, Buko Pandan, Mocha Coconut, Ube Coconut, Cafe Ube, Caramel Nut, PB&J, Puppy Chow (Muddy Buddies) Savory Goodies: Pork Empanadas, Hot Dog kolache, Ham & Cheese kolache, Jalapeno & Cream cheese kolache, Lumpia (chicken or cheeseburger) Other Goodies: Leche flan, ube cookies, pan de sal, pan de ube, kronut holes They do have one menu board showing Allergen 411 for their donuts (milk, eggs, gluten, soy, tree nuts, peanuts). They also have some custom Natomas Bad Bakers merch for sale too (hats, shirts, etc.). Their other locations (aside from the mobile food truck) are: Sacramento (Expo), Elk Grove, Roseville, Folsom, and one in Santa Ana. P.S. They're now on Too Good To Go, with sweet, savory, or sweet and savory goodies!
